MCOM 333: Want more out of Twitter? Follow more people than orgs

Posted by: DrS In: mcom333

According to a recent study, Twitter users are more likely to follow and interact with journalists on Twitter rather than the media organizations they work for.

  • What does this suggest about your Twitter experience? Do you follow more organizations or people?
  • What does this suggest about your Twitter strategy as an emerging media professional?
  • What does this suggest about organizational social media strategy more generally? (Such as this story out of the BBC.)

Today’s MCOM 333 agenda is in the class schedule.
