Many of us became aware of Occupy Wall Street only after the NYPD pepper sprayed four female protesters Sept. 24, an incident caught on video that quickly went viral.
From this weekend’s news, add the images of UC Davis police pepper spraying peaceful students.
And the silent protest Saturday of students who lined the path of UC Davis Chancellor Linda Katehi as she walked to her car.
Another image that grabbed me this weekend was this one by Seattle photojournalist Joshua Trujillo of 84-year-old Dorli Rainey, pepper sprayed this weekend at Occupy Seattle. Read the account of how the photo happened.
