I tried to save “The Colts’ Baltimore: A city and its Love Affair in the 1950s” by Michael Olesker to read in the fall during football season. But with the O’s going into the All-Star Break with the worst record in the league, I couldn’t resist it any longer.
Is it football season yet?
I started it yesterday, got hooked on the first few pages, and now there’s no looking back. If my dad, granddad and uncles had grown up in East Baltimore, these are the stories they would have told me.
